Why Rowing Ducks?

I started Rowing Ducks in 2023 after I wanted to write my Will and get my affairs in order. I found the process confusing and complicated. I was also surprised at how tedious it was, how often I thought about filling out the forms but how often I stopped or avoided doing the work. I finally bribed my sister into helping me. We were both pleasantly surprised at how much easier it was to complete the paperwork as a team. We thought that if we needed the help others must too. I wanted a name that was playful, a little bit of humor for a very serious business.

And so -  Rowing Ducks was hatched.​

 

Having resided in North Carolina for three decades, I've overseen the operations of a construction company's office, served as PTA president, instructed art classes, managed an errand service for seniors, and worked as a Home Manager. My extensive experience lies in effectively organizing spaces and managing paperwork while being friendly, calm and encouraging.​
